]]>Katia after the short program, for which she received 58.49 points, was in the 13th position and she easily advanced to the finals. Her free program was rated at 111.75 points, which in the end gave her promotion by 3 positions. Eventually she was classified in 10th place with a total score of 170.24 points.
The last skater who won such a high position for Poland in the soloists category was Sabina Wojtala in 1999. It is also worth emphasizing that Katia’s good start guaranteed our country the participation of two soloists in next year’s European Championships.

]]>Katia was in the lead right after the Short Program (62.66 points), with an advantage of over 11 points over Aleksandra GOLOVKINA (LTU), who was second in the classification with the score of 51.21 points. The Free Skating sealed her victory. The skater from MKS Axel Toruń got 181.97 points and took first place among the seniors, outclassing the rivals. Emily Zhang (USA) took second place with the score of 153.00 points and Alina Iushchenkova from Israel (139.81 points) won bronze medal.
Katia took part not only in the competition, but also during the Saturday Final Gala. Her dynamic program, prepared especially for this occasion, received huge audience applause.

]]>For our representative, who trains in Toronto on a daily basis, it was a very good test before the upcoming season. Already after the short program, she was in the lead with the result of 61.70 points. The free program, for which she collected 121.07 points, sealed her first position in the competition.
